Gunler Foods, Inc. to locate North American Headquarters in Texas Triangle Park

RESEARCH VALLEY, TX – Gunler Foods, Inc. officials announced today plans to locate their first U.S. based production facilities for bottle manufacturing and labeling of edible oil products on 25 acres at Texas Triangle Park in Brazos County. The company will initially build two facilities in the park totaling over 100,000 sq. ft. with a capital investment projected at over $10 million. Texas Triangle Park’s strategic location to Gunler Food, Inc.’s North and Latin American markets combined with significant rail capacity were important factors in their decision.

Erick Garcia, President of Gunler Foods, Inc., said, “ We are excited about the opportunity of building our edible oil plant in the Texas Triangle Park. After a lengthy analysis of several options, Gunler choose to come to Brazos County, Texas due to the benefits offered by the location and infrastructure of the site. The responsiveness, enthusiasm and professionalism of Brazos County, the City of Bryan and Research Valley Partnership representatives have been outstanding. We look forward to becoming part of this wonderful community.”

In addition, Gunler Foods, Inc. projects that after thirty-six months of full operations it will employ 230 workers generating a payroll of $6.5 million for the refining, production, labeling, bottling and distribution of edible oils.

McDaniel, President & CEO of The Research Valley Partnership, said. “Their decision continues to validate the unique advantages of Texas Triangle Park’s connectivity to major consumer markets in Texas and Mexico through access due to our unique geographic position and strong transportation network.
